KID PITCH TO DEBUT THIS SUNDAY
A Baseball Show By and For Kids

HOLLYWOOD, CA — With the words, “Pitchers and Catchers Report” ringing throughout the land of baseball this week, baseball’s newest show, “Kid Pitch,” debuts this Sunday, February 21, on the Fox Sports Network (FSN) at 10:30 a.m. (EST and PST). Check local listings.

Future Hall of Fame Manager Joe Torre will be the guest on the premiere, hosted by award-winning television star and stand-up comedian Tom Arnold. The show features the children of Larry King, Rodney and Holly Peete, as well as children from across the country. Rawlings Sporting Goods is a sponsor and will provide product for the show.

Produced by Hollywood legends Burt Sugarman and Mary Hart, the show looks at the National Pastime through the eyes of children. They will host guests on their set, fire questions, and receive reports from kid reporters Boston to Los Angeles. Through the use of new “Flip Cams,” participation in the show is open to all children who can capture their baseball stories and send them to our Kid Pitch websites. Larry King’s sons Chance, 10, and Cannon, 9, are among the Hollywood hosts, as is RJ Peete, the son of football star Rodney Pete and actress Holly Robinson.

“Kid Pitch” was created by longtime Hollywood film producer Brad Wyman. Wyman is the son of Los Angeles legend Roz Wyman, who in 1957, as a 22-year-old City Council Member, wrote the letter to Walter O’Malley that brought Major League Baseball to the West Coast, further unifying the nation through baseball.

“Now we want to ensure that children throughout the country and the world not only enjoy baseball, but contribute to the discovering and telling of good baseball stories,” he said.
